Job summaryThe Amazon Web Services (AWS) Public Sector Professional Services team is looking for a passionate and talented Data/Analytics Consultant who will collaborate with data scientists and engineers to support modernization projects that enable computer vision capabilities to address customer use-cases at enterprise scale.

In this position, you will bring digital transformation for customer data holdings, including video and content workloads, facilitating AWS Cloud-native ML solutions, providing direct and immediate impact for your customers.
You will have the opportunity to help design and deliver data specific solutions to the enterprise scale public sector entities, medical institutions, and non-profits to solve challenging problems using AWS big data capabilities (Amazon Redshift, Amazon EMR, Amazon Athena, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB) alongside AWS media capabilities including AWS Elemental Media Services.
You will be the thought leader to define the solution space for these challenging problems and leverage your depth in big data and analytics to set the stage for successful customer modernization engagements leveraging computer vision and ML.
You will also guide teams in the development of new solutions and aid customers in adopting AWS ML capabilities.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for educating, training, and designing cloud solutions for enterprise customers and a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical.
Customer-facing experience is required, ideally having worked as a consultant, pre-sales engineer, solutions architect or other similar role.
The AWS Professional Services Public Sector Data & ML team is primarily virtual, though employees are welcome to work on-site at any AWS Corporate office.
Employees can live anywhere in the United States.
Key job responsibilities Engage directly with customers to understand their business problems and aid them in digital transformations of data holdings, facilitating implementation of computer vision and ML solutions.
Develop solutions that make the best use of the AWS Cloud platform and Analytics Services.
End to end participation in project delivery, to include understanding business needs, project planning, and aggregating & exploring data to enable deploying computer vision and ML capabilities on the AWS Cloud.
Provide expertise and thought leadership in the development of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) solutions leveraging the AWS Cloud.
Leverage AWS ML tools, such as Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth (GT), to annotate and enhance customer data holdings.
Act as technical liaison between customers and the service engineering teams, providing product improvement feedback to AWS service team developers and accelerating the adoption of new features in customer deployments.
Coordinate and lead internal solution design review processes.
Publish and present solutions in large forums of peers and customers.
This is a customer facing role.
You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services when needed.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain an active security clearance.
This position involves up to 25% travel.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
