Be part of building a new service that will be used by millions of developers like you worldwideWork with developers across industries to enrich and enhance developer experiencesIterate, build, test new ideas, and shape the future vision for developer tools that operate in the cloud.
Learn and use core AWS technologies to design and then build available and scalable back-end web services and customer-facing APIs.
Learn, master, and work with a variety of developer tools across the spectrum of the software development lifecycle.
Work on challenging algorithms and business problems that find the balance between security, availability, and great user experience.
Participate in no-meeting Wednesdays and monthly hack-a-thons to help dog-food the developer experiences we build.

com/ A day in the lifeSprint Work:
Writing code, fixing a bug, investigating an ops event, writing a design doc, researching what tech is available, brainstorming ideas for solving the problem, and chatting with teammates about the problem.
Ad Hoc Work:
Answering questions about how our system works, collaborating with teammates on ideas to solve a problem, helping investigate an emergent ops or a bug that was found, etc.
Code Reviews:
Review to understand the change or the proposed update, giving feedback, and approving.
Wellness:
Take time for self care which could include mindfulness exercises, going to the gym or just taking a walk.
Attend Meetings and Ceremonies:
daily standup, weekly 1:
1 with manager, weekly ops meeting where we review operational events from previous week, biweekly sprint planning where we discuss what we're working on for the next two weeks, biweekly sprint demo to show what was built over previous sprint, design review meeting to review a design for a new system or an important change.
Interview:
Conduct a technical interview for an engineering candidate, where we walk through a coding exercise and chat about what it's like to work at AWS.
Fun:
Meeting with fellow members of a special interest group, serendipitous events at the office such as a mini e-bike fair to promote subsidies for green commuting at the Spheres or even visiting the Amazon Go store:

About the teamThe AWS Developer Tools organization is building a new product that is innovating on the existing AWS Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) CodeSuite primitives for the next generation developer toolchain.
The organization is working outside of the usual AWS ecosystem, designing and building new paradigms for AWS, including using GraphQL to support our customer experience and building all of our services using native AWS tools.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
