Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) World Wide Public Sector (WWPS) Migration team working with Federal Government customers migrating workloads to AWS.
In this role you will be driving customer engagement for migrating existing IT assets to AWS.
You will have an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver the Migration Acceleration Program with Federal Government organizations.
You will be responsible for engaging customers and partners while working with account teams.
You must be effective at working with customers to describe the business opportunity from migrating and modernizing, and the methodologies that have been developed to reduce risk and help the customer achieve their outcomes.
You should be comfortable working with cross functional global teams in dynamic organizations as the program will have interdependencies with other teams within AWS.
Typically cross-functional collaboration includes business development teams, solutions architecture, marketing, partners, professional services, compliance, product, sales enablement, sales operations, and other related teams.
The ideal candidate will bring both technical delivery and business development skills/interests to this position.
They will have experience working with enterprise customers on large scale migration and modernization projects.
The ideal candidate will draw upon exemplary technical and project management skills, critical thinking, problem solving skills, and a passion for creating reliable and maintainable solutions on AWS.
The candidate should be open to new challenges, extremely good at multi-tasking, innovative, creative, self-directed, and a great team player.
Candidates should drive continuous process improvement and collaborate effectively with aggressive cross-functional business and software development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.
The Migration Technical Business Development Manager will interact with a broad cross section of Amazon Web Services spanning a wide range of technologies to meet specific customer requirements.
This requires a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong technical understanding to provide confidence to customers and answer their questions, ability to engage and help customers crystallize business benefits of their migrations, demonstrating a good understanding of cloud solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform using cloud technologies.

Key job responsibilities Meet regularly with customer application owners and development teams to determine workload development/transition status, identify and remove development blockers, and develop plans for future enhancements.
Work backwards from helping customers achieve business outcomes, engage with customers on first call decks, and support our account teams and other regional business development teams.
Identify opportunities to build compelling proposals to help customers achieve business value from migrations, provide the path forward for customers to build migration plans and business cases, and ensure clarity on AWS's value proposition(s) for the customer as they move their workloads to AWS.
Collaborate with the technical and industry teams to exchange consistent outcomes and requests from customers through these engagements.
Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms to capture results and improvement opportunities.
Periodically present progress to executive leadership.
Conduct customer briefings, present at customer events, further AWS thought leadership in the IT transformation domain.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
