The Senior DevOps Consultant is a leader with significant automation and programming experience throughout the SDLC.
The Consultant will lead our enterprise customers through large organizational and SDLC transformations.
A successful DevOps practitioner has technical depth across the Full DevOps Spectrum along with leading and evangelizing transformations, and driving innovations.
AWS Professional Services engages in a wide variety of cloud migration and cloud adoption projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base.

We are looking for people that have:
A strong understanding of large scale computing solutions across the full enterprise stack.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert and have past experience working with highly scalable distributed systems.
With AWS, you will keep your existing technical skills honed and develop new ones as you lead architecture development and proof of concept buildouts for customers.
You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and hands-on design exercises to create innnovative cloud solutions built on AWS.
A background of deep technical expertise supporting customers in the following enterprise technology areas:
Infrastructure automation; cloud migration and deployment; DevSecOps pipeline build and management.
An understanding of enterprise software development tools and methodologies, including typical enterprise application architectures and the ability to write basic scripted or compiled code.
A mix of advanced technology and strategic business acumen as well as a demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to the business value of AWS services and offerings.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance or higher.
Our Consultants work with Federal Government customers locally, regionally and potentially domestically.
As such, Consultants must have the ability to travel to client locations to sell and deliver professional services as needed.
(up to 50%)Key job responsibilitiesAs a DevOps Consultant, you will manage projects independently and also deliver as part of larger teams.
Work with customers and partners internalizing their context while using your business and technical skills to design solutions based on requirements and constraints.
Work towards customer business outcomes, ensuring there is a strong connection between delivery activities and business objectives.
Own and complete key tasks and deliverables, and collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholders needs.
Guide customers' technical and investments, maximizing alignment with the platform, and ease of adoption as new services and products become available.
Design and deliver solutions that solve for new levels of complexity, scale and performance, and in turn, enable breakthrough innovations.
Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices and artifacts that deliver prescriptive guidance to customers, and publish and present them in large forums and across various media platforms.
Experience with seamless/automated build scripts used for release management across all environments.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
